Charmaine Marie Tucker is a native of Omaha, Nebraska.  She currently resides in Fort Worth, TX where she is a licensed and ordained minister of the Word of God.  Charmaine is a single mother of three, Tierre Marquice Maclin, Tyeisha Michele Tucker, and Malaika P’Trice Robbins.  She is a graduate of The University of Phoenix. Additionally, she is an author, youth advocate, playwright, screenwriter, public speaker, and a poet.
Charmaine has a heart for all youth. She truly believes they have a voice that needs to be heard and adults need to understand their language. Her main goal is to help them to become successful in life and to be happy. Furthermore, when it comes to youth, Charmaine knows that creating a positive environment is crucial.
Situations happen, disappointments come, and trials are real. As adults, we know this is true, but when these things try to overtake our youth, who will be there to keep it real? Who will stand up and explain that something may happen, someone may hurt you, and at some point, your life may take a turn for the worst? Being blindsided and thrown into a negative circumstance, with no clue as to why, is unfair and unethical, especially when someone had an answer before anything ever happened.
How to handle life when it appears to be going all wrong is a question we need to present to our youth. After we present the question, we need to see what they think of that question and then we need to give them examples of what life can bring. Forewarning, with the steps it takes to make it in life and the steps it takes to avoid heartache, heartbreak, and unnecessary situations, are essential in any child’s life. They may not heed the warning, but at least you know you did your job.
No one’s life has been perfect, but we go through tough situations so that we can help others to endure what they may go through in the future. If you made it out of the fire, and you have lived to tell the story, it is important that you tell it. Life’s goal should be to help someone and to love them in the process. It’s as simple as that.
Success takes work and attitude is everything. A smile will brighten the evilest person’s day, a kind word will boost someone’s confidence, and a hug will deliver a hurting heart. It’s never about us; it’s always about the next person.
